It's been so cold here today, even DD2 was crying because her feet were freezing in her shoes, normally she isn't phased with the cold. I bought her some fluffy boots which she now refuses to take off :haha: Apparently it's 7c here but paths, roads and grass were frosted over! Definitely colder than that.

Is it cold where you's are? :cold:

There's a house near us, that goes way OTT on the outside decorations and illuminations and when I walked past yesterday they were setting everything up! Definitely makes it feel more christmassy now.

We've been for a walk in the forest this morning and it was around 0c there!! ❄️☃️

Super cold here this morning on the way home after the school run!!!! (not sure if my pic will upload, but its 0 degrees!! :xmas8:

It seems to have warmed up a bit now.. probably more like 10 or 11 thankfully. Super icy this morning too!

Now we just need a nice snow covering on Christmas morning! Nothing feels more Christmassy than snow :xmas8:

It's awful when it's sunny on Christmas day :haha:

Snow on Christmas day would be great! I can only remember that happening once in my life :)

I think it snowed when I was a child once or twice, but maybe not on Christmas... but in 2010 we had snow up to my knees on before, during and after Christmas! Unfortunately that was the year we had booked to have christmas lunch out at a pub so had a mission and a half walk there and back :haha:

I love decorated houses, favourite being the string lights which dangle from the fascia/guttering. They look so pretty.

0 degrees!!! I think 7 is classed as pretty warm now compared to that haha. We're lucky, Bev!

I remember Christmas Day in 2013; It was 19 or 20 degrees with the sun shining bright!

Oh yes I loooove outdoor decorations. Unfortunately we have a concrete driveway and no front garden.. but I'd love to have a little lights display out there. DH is NOT going to get on a ladder and fix lights to the house :haha:
We tend to get indoor window lights to at least half resemble outdoor lights.

Ahhh it just sounds bonkers doesn't it.. sunny on Christmas :dohh:
My brother in law and his wife moved to New Zealand a few years ago and they still can't get used to hot Christmases. It just feels unnatural :haha:
