I have bittersweet feelings about Christmas this year. First Christmas without my family, I will be spending it with my inlaws in America, first Christmas in America. My inalws go BIG for Christmas so it will be interesting to see this side. I am used to it being summer time so this will be my first white winter Christmas too!
More importantly, first Christmas together with my husband. We never celebrated Christmas together as he was always in America and I was in New Zealand for Christmas while we dated. My grandmother passed away on Christmas day 2004 so it will be 14 years this year without her. Going to be a very emotional Christmas this year.

Why are Christmas trees so expensive in America?

This is our first Christmas together, we need to buy a Christmas tree! Eeek. The thought of children oneday around our Christmas tree, makes my heart happy.
