*personal preference of course ;)

We tend to forget as we're caught up and preoccupied in other things in the run up so I thought it would be a good idea to generate lists filled with what we would normally buy in preparation, to help with ideas for others :)

These can include:
Food
Drinks
Tableware
Music etc

For me, I refuse to cook or clean on xmas eve, so we have sandwiches on paper plates :haha: or takeaway.
Xmas day:
Bfast - Crumpets/pancakes/waffles/toppings
Dinner - Chicken/gammon/beef/stuffing/carrots/leafy cabbage/broccoli/cauliflower/pigs in blankets/roasted parsnips/yorkies/gravy/mint sauce
Tea - Cheese, spreads and savoury crackers or make a mini buffet (or eat crap lol)

Hot chocolate and baileys is a biggie for me, with whipped cream and marshmallows for night times and pure apple/orange juice during the day.
Mince pies
Cheeselets
Crackers (although we do forget to do them a lot of the time)

I'm onto my food and drinks lists now I've done the presents.

DH is working Christmas eve, not sure what time he will finish :-(

Mains and deserts have all been ordered from M+S.

ASDA order booked for 23rd
Veg for Christmas day
Cheese
Crackers
Chutney
Anti pasti (salami, etc)
Cheeselets/Cheddars
Crisps (saw some Christmas tree shaped tortillas in co op today)
Chocolates/Biscuits
Nuts
Elf Ice Cream (asda)
Mince Pies

Gin
Whisky
Wine/Prosecco
Coke/Diet Coke
Shloer (for girls)
Lemonade
Tonic

Table is all done as I have the same placemats and coasters I use all year

Need to add more songs to my playlist actually. Will do that in a bit.

X

Cheeses, crackers and chutneys for us!
And after eights, Ferrero rocher and terrys chocolate orange are a kitchen staple in December :haha:
I only buy baileys at Christmas too, love a baileys coffee or hot chocolate when we have Christmas visitors (well if its before a certain time anyway, after that its wine or gin always lol)

Crackers, cheese, cranberry sauce, pigs in blankets and prawn cocktail :munch:

For you baileys lovers out there! I seriously reccomend the cheap tesco version, cant remember the name but its £3 odd, and as a BIG baileys drinker, this actually tastes nicer than the original! Plus at £3 something a bottle, you can afford to enjoy it all year round! :haha:
