Christmas

I know it's a bit of a way off but I was wondering... for those who you whose ex still sees your LO how do you work out christmas? Last christmas we were "together" and we had already decided that it would be my mums turn to have us all for christmas dinner then this year it would be his mums turn. Only obviously now we have split up and I know he is going to try and push his mum having Grace most of the day as it's "her turn" but with the circumstances being different now I want her with me. Me and my family are really big on christmas, pretty much every close member of my family live in the same town so we all spend it together. His family don't have dinner at home they go out to a restaurant and they are dotted all over the place so he spends most of the day travlling to and from houses and I couldn't tell you how many times he moaned about how much he hates christmas day. Obviously I want to have her all day but that isn't going to happen. So how should I split it? Or what would be fair?

Im not a single parent but holly has got a diff dad and i spend christmas morning with holly we open presents go and visit my dad come home and have dinner then about 3 she goes to her dads for a couple of hours he doesnt like the fact that he doesnt get to see holly xmas morning but tough x

Andrew and I are living separately, so both sets of parents want Elyse for Christmas day at their place... well we've decided I'll probably go there with Elyse Christmas Eve (weather permitting), and she'll stay at home with me on Christmas Day, either until dinner and then we'll go there or until after dinner then we'll go there.

My son stays with me full stop as he doesn't see his dad, When we did originally speak i offered to let his dad sleep on the settee to watch him open pressies & he did, then the next xmas he took him at about 3 ish onwards overnight.

When i was younger though i always used to spend xmas at home with mum & then my dad would pick me up boxing day morning & i would go to his overnight.

well mines wants nothing to do with the baby so I fortunately get away with having to deal with this

When me and my brother were little my mam used to have us christmas day and we would be with her family however, on xmas mornin my mam took us to see my dads parents and our cousins.. that was because my dad doesnt live in the same town so it was a little easier and then my dad would have us boxing day and the day after so we would be with his family
