Cigarettes & Smoke - Possible symptom???

Hiya girls

Was just wondering if anyone had anything like this before getting there

I smoked for about 17 years before giving up earlier this year and was on 20-25 a day towards the end
Since giving up i no longer 'like' the smell (probably wrong choice of words as im sure i never actually liked it but you know what I mean lol) but I can 'cope' with it and although I moan when OH or friends smoke around me its nothing major. But, last weekend I was round a friends and 2 of them were smoking and i had to leave the room as i felt like it was really choking me and making me gag but thought nothing of it, then on Monday we went to a medievil do at the local park and they had a lot of smoke going as they were cooking on open fires and again I had to leave and now OH has just got in from work and tried to kiss me and just the taste of smoke on him is enough to make me feel like im choking and gagging
Ive actually told him that unless he goes and cleans his teeth I cant kiss him

Ive been quit for over 6 months and its never affected me like this before so I know its not in my head

Yes, I know exactly what you mean! Last night I fell asleep and my DH got up to go smoke and the smell woke me up out of a dead sleep. I made him go take a shower.

No, and I used to smoke too. It hasn't ever bothered me because I could never really smell it on myself or anyone else, my nose was that desensitized to it.

Maybe its a good sign then

Its weird cause its not that it makes me feel sick or anything, just the smoke is making me not be able to breath and I cant stand the smell or taste at the mo

Yeah, it's not making me sick either. Just smells really bad to me and I don't want to smell it at all. I hope it's a good sign too! I'm not going to test until Saturday, so if you test before then give an update!

one of the girls on my team at work, smoked for years and was giving up on and off for a while.

Then one day the smell of it made her gag, everything about it she just wanted to throw she found out shortly after she was prego she is due October 13th 2010!! fingers x'd for you ladies
