well once you see a child...or many children go through horrible dr's visits and procedures to stretch the skin around the opening, and get infections over and over you wouldnt be so against it
Ive personally never met a single person who has had a problem with their uncirc'd penis. I grew up in the UK were it is very rare for a boy to be circ'd i never met a guy who was circ'd till i met my husband.
so just because you dont have ti done, doesnt mean there WILL be problems. the chances of infections and problems with an uncirc'd penis are very very low. otherwise countries like the UK would of started to circ their boys long long ago!
What she said.
There are many problems people face with their bodies, it's a part of life.
I equate the removal of the foreskin at birth to removing all of ones teeth in case they 'may' go rotten. Sure, if you have teeth issues you get them fixed as they come along, and it's painful and horrible. Just like circumcising or foreskin issues. If it's broken, fix it, if not, leave it alone.
Surely you don't use foreskin to chew your food?Teeth serve a purpose which is greater than a risk of them going rotten. Here in the States it is normal for a boy to be circumsized, whether it is "right or wrong" it is normal, as someone previously stated.
Personally, even though the risk of infection or medically necessary circ is rare; I would much prefer to have it done when he is too young to remember and the healing process is much quicker.![]()

I really do find the 'old fashioned' and 'behind' comments extremely offensive....
Im not easily offended or confrontational, but really, people need to look at there wording before they post!

I know that Minties does have strong views on the matter, which i completely respect, i really do!
However just because we dont all do the same things for the same reasons, i dont appreciate being made to feel as if im deliberately hurting my son for the fun of it....I circ'd for religious purposes as you well knowHowever dont refer to my beliefs as old fashioned and behind, thats just mean and definately bound to offend.
We all do things differently and people need to be respectful of that regardless of whether they agree with it or not!
