So I would be about 7dpo (I know its SUPER early to test but I'm HORRIBLE at the 2WW & have had a few symptoms) Anyway I took these 2 clearblue & got a + within the time limit. They started off extremely faint & then got darker as time went on (hour or so). Then I got super curious so I went & bought FRER...which was negative. What are your thoughts? Positives or horrible blue dye evap/error lines?

Hmmmm, I'd say if there was a faint line within the time limit then it might be a start of a BFP! 7dpo is still early, the fact that u got a faint line makes me want to test right now! Good luck and keep us posted. Any symptoms?

VERY sore nipples & have been feeling exhausted. I had a pink spot in my CM about 6 days ago. I know it would be SUPER early to receive a BFP so I'm starting to wonder if its another stupid blue dye test error.

After I took these I was searching all over the internet to see what other women had thought about this clearblue test & apparently they are notorious for rapid evaps & false positives. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but since the lines came within the 3 minutes I'm still curious...

they look like my evaps on this test....if u phone them from the box they will send u some digi's if there evaps .... goodluckx

thanks honey08... I'm sure I'm not lucky enough this month to be pregnant.

Even though they're cheaper, I'm never going with the blue dye tests again....ughhh sooo frustrating!!!

Hey Brit! Look up
Blue dye
Username : feelcrazy

I've seen tons like that and they were false!
That being said your second one looks a bit to dark to be an evap line!
Please update with a new test! Good luck 

That looks like a classic Clearblue evap line. I have used oh so many of those and had the same thing happen... Something appeared to be a faint positive, and then as time went on the line grew into a skinny dark line. I would get excited and try another brand and ya negative.

I don't think there is a perfect test, they all have flaws, but blue dye ones are really craptacular. I have seen so many women here post up similar pics and they were negatives. I would only consider trusting a blue dye test if I was super late and had a super dark thick line show up within 10 minutes.

I am not trying to b*tchy, it's just I know how much it sucks to be fooled by these tests.

Blumming CB's Grrrr... I'm not say yours is an evap, but if you look at mine on the thread below you'll see how bad these tests are for evaps. Please go and test on a pink dye. I truely hope you get you BFP hunni xxxx

They look how my bfp started, the top definitely has width to it and cb give me the best and earliest positives. I've never had an evap on them. They always go a bit thin when they dry so don't give up hope just yet. Good luck with the next tests. x

Take a pink dye test lady! And post a pic! Even though they are notorious for false positives those tests are positive...like DAMN THEY'RE POSITIVE...test with a pink dye test and see what happens!

Don't count yourself out yet. Althought CB is known for evaps and false positives that doesn't mean that these ones are. Only time will tell. I'd wait and do a pink dye test with FMU tomorrow or the day after even. Hope you get your bfp soon.

Hi hun, it could be the start of a positive, and dont want to bring you down from your excitement but those clear blues are Notorious, im going to put a pic up of a positive I got when I wasnt pregnant, but want to add that my line didnt appear immediately so theres a good chance it could be the start of a BFP for you and i wish you lots of luck!

Thanks everyone!

(@dollposse - I don't think you're being b*tchy!!!)

After searching on here & other sites, I've definitely come to the conclusion that these are probably evap lines. Thanks for the pic Emo1978! I can't believe how positive these tests can look! :nope:

I will wait a few days & do a pink test & let you all know! Thanks for listening!

9dpo is still really early to get a pos hpt!!
The average for a FAINT pos is 10-14 dpo....so wait another day or two and try again

I pledge to try my HARDEST to wait another 3 days - so Saturday. It will be a struggle, but I must do it for my own sanity :)

And thanks Snip!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck hun! 9dpo is still really early! I'm not sure how many dpo I could have gotten my positives but I got the one in my avatar a day before AF! So im gonna go with 13dpo but not exactly sure!

I am sorry but I have to agree, evap. I had those to. Did both come in same box? I think Clearblue and Fact Plus needs to take their tests OFF the market. There is something in it that triggers a false result which gets us so hopeful and to me the hope is so awful when it is true negative. It can cause depression, so not needed when TTC. I hope this is your time, and I agree, it is early at 7dpo. Try again with a frer around 9/10dpo

aaah at 9dpo your def not out yet! cb are a nightmare! also Lloyds chemist own brand gave me exactly same line, stick to pink dye and digis hun :hugs: Good luck for saturday xxx
