i know that they can't stress enough about how you shouldn't look at the lines on the stick and only pay attention to the smiley/no smiley on them, but i never got a smiley but i did notice a change in the lines. i think i may have started them too late in my cycle. the first one i took had 2 dark lines and they have slowly turned lighter and the last one i took only had one dark line. did i miss my ovulation day?

Hiya hunnie... I know there say not to look, but you gotta eject those things out, so its inevitable that you will look!!!! especially those who are trying!.

If the 1st test you did was quite dark... and for say that was your positive... you would then typically ovulate anyway from 24-48 hours later!!... so if you around that time you are certainly well within a chance.

Like you said, it's inevitable to look at the lines when the stick is ejected! Haha.
