hmmm mine looked like that after i left it for longer than ten mins.
If this pic was takin within 10 mins i believe its a possitive
good luck hun

Looks like a good line - BUT - I'm so skeptical of blue dye tests. Any way you could run out tonight and get a FRER and test first thing in the morning?

the line apeared within a minute and became stronger after 5 mins, I did a FRER this evening and it was BFN should i re test tomorow morning with FMU?

jen i dont want to be a downer lol but she is right i dont trust them too much
i think if it appered that quick i think you could be pregnant but just
test again in the am to put your mind at ease :)

okies well thanks for your honesty, Ill be testing again on thursday is AF doesnt show up ! x

I hate to dampner too , But think blue lines are classed as negative .
Lots and lots of ladies have found that too on here and have complained to Clear blue about it , Its awfull they can sell tests that do this .

There defence is the line has to be as thick as the controll line andthe across line .

Good luck . xxx .

Apparently if the line is off to one side, or not a thick line, then it can be an evap. I would keep testing with a red dye test.

I've had both false positives and true positives which look like your pics, try another type of test (i found tesco good) GL xxxxx

i'm really sorry chick but i have to be honest - thin dark lines are technically a negative. if you read the small print on the back of the instructions, it says the line has to be as thick as the horizontal one. they are so unreliable, i made my husband pee on one to see what a true negative looked like, and he had a thin dark blue line. :(

you could still be pregnant though, try with a red dye test instead. i've got my fingers crossed for you!

I am so confused with all the different responses I've had I'm going to wait till friday and do a CB digi, but thanks to everyone who did respond x

have a good read of the instructions that came with the test for a final answer. i'll attach a pic of what it said on mine. goodluck for friday!

I got identical false positives on clearblue too :hissy: they should be banned.

Good luck for re test Friday , I hope it gives you the answer you want .

I think I also have fallen victim to one of these too, got one on Saturday with FMU and then today I have a BFN on a First Response.
I agree dan-o, they should be taken off the shelves until they can sort this out.
Do let us know Jen how it goes, I'm still in the waiting game too. So frustrating and confusing isn't it?
Babydust to all!

I did call & complain, but they just took the batch numbers & sent me some new tests.
It happened on 3 out of the 4 tests I bought, and one of the new ones they sent me grrr.

I'm not the only one either!!

I stuck to internet cheapies & FRER (if I needed a proper answer) after that.

Hope you get a BFP in a day or two hun :hugs: xxx

Hey everyone,

ive been to see the gp today and had my pregnancy confirmed so maybe it was a faint posistive that looked like one of the faulty tests. My EDD is 30/09/09!!

Jen x
