Well I went to the midwife for scan results today and he has got those. Being referred to a specialist and will see what happens next. Is a bit of a shock.

Aw I'm sorry I know first hand that any news about your baby's development is shocking if not what expected. I just wanted to say that the surgery that can be done now for this is absolutely fantastic and in a lot of cases hardly noticeable at all! So keep positive, there's always someone worse off than yourself xx

My daughter has a cleft palate. Three surgeries and it's still not fixed.

Haberman bottles are your best friend, and you can probably get your insurance to pay for them. Wish someone had told me that when DD was first born.

Sorry about what? Yes I know about surgeries. I'm in New Zealand, we don't have insurance for bottles etc. I do know about the bottles though. Waiting for an appointment with the specialist but apart from this my son is a perfectly healthy boy and is doing well.

Thankyou Emma I was saying that, however I will think twice about replying to one of your posts in the future, unsure why you posted in the first place if you didn't want a response of any sort.

Whos being rude? I did not understand what she was saying sorry for so no need to get nasty.

I'm not being nasty, just frank. It's how your response reads. Two members have replied to your post and your response was hardly welcoming.

Sorry bc it's not exactly an ideal situation to be in, so the poster was just offering her support. I hope it all works out for you and baby.
