Clexane

Hi, I was hoping someone has had the same advice from their doc, and that it worked!

After 4 losses, they have me on 40mg of clexane, (have Prothrombin Gene Mutation) and we are at 9 weeks (furthest so far!!!) but doc wants to take me off clexane at 16 weeks, I am soooooo scared that this will mean I will loose the baby, I want to stay on it for longer but he is not keen.

Has anyone else stopped clexan in 2ndTri? Have their babies been ok?
Would really help to hear from people!

I have not heard of this, what does it do? Maybe if you understood more about it, it would ease your fears? Talk to your doctor if anything about your concerns and please keep us posted. and

I had clexane til full term (Honey was born at 36+6) and died due to placental problems (I also found out I had a clotting disorder). Could you compromise with your doctor and ask for it to be until 24 weeks as that is only 8 weeks more than they want and might make you feel a bit 'safer'?

Tasha, am so sorry to hear that you lost your baby after getting so far.
It is a scary scary things sometimes this pregnancy thing, so many hopes and fears makes it hard to stay sane sometimes!

I am def going to try and negotiate with the doctor.
