clomid - lining only 3.9mm - what to do?

Hi ladies

I had a scan today on my 2nd round of clomid (no scan was done the first month because the only person in hospital that does them was on annual leave!).

I was told that my ovaries have over-stimulated and 4 eggs are waiting to be released over the next few days (I didn't think that was so bad but apparently it is). My lining is only 3.9mm (which I have since found out is really low although the nurse who did the scans said she's seen pregnancies with linings of 4 and 5mm - though she did say this is rare).

I am so confused about what to do. I have been told they dont give progesterone or any other medication as there is no proof they work???

I also haven't been offered injectibles.

Our next step is IVF and the nurse said it's prob best to come off clomid???

I don't even know if the clomid has caused the thin lining or if I had a thin lining anyway...the nurse didn't offer to scan me when I wasnt on clomid. Should I have asked???

Any words of advice would be appreciated...just hearing if this kind of treatment is normal/ what others have experienced would help...I don't know whether to take half a tablet (25mg) of clomid next month or just give it up and wait 2 years for IVF (have already been TTC for 2.5 years )

Clomid thinned my lining out even though I had a mature egg... They class me as clomid resistant...

I have done a round since of injectables now waiting to start my next one- I have a nice lining and nice follicles on it.
I would suggest asking for the injectables? Maybe ring up?

I am not Eligable for Ivf so I have an appointment in November for egg sharing...

I would definately ask about maybe femara or injectables it's worth asking?

Hi ladies, I just went to the naturopath yesterday and she changed my evening primrose oil from 3000mg cd1-o to 2000 cd1-0 AND 4000mg O-AF citing that it helps build your lining and support progesterone levels. I asked her about the fear that it can cause uterine contractions and it's about a tiny chance of uterine contractions vs the benefits of buiding a healthy lining and softening the uterus making it a friendly environment to hold a baby. It's also a strong anti inflammatory which helps your tissues not reject an embryo.

This sounds really interesting..can u explain what u mean by cd1 -o? Im really interested in natural ways of thickening my lining so thats so much for sharing

Will u be getting any scans to see if there is any difference to your lining on the coming months? X

Ive been working flat out this week...havent had a chance to get back in touch with the nurse at the hospital re injectibles...being busy at work has kept my mind off things though so thats good! X
