clomid or ovulation = nipple pain?? or both??

Hello ladies

I took my last dose of Clomid on March 1st. I was suppose to ovulate around the 8th. I think I did ovulate since I had some ovulation pains in my right lower abdomen. I have also been having a VERY sensitive right nipple. I dont even want to wear a bra because it hursts.

I dont know what to think of it. Is it because of the Clomid? I dont think it was because of the ovulation, cause it would been gone by now right?!? I dont think its a pregnancy sign since its too soon.

Any of you ladies have experience this? Any comments would help ease my worry. Thanks!

Can't really help to ease the worry, but I to finished my round (2) of Clomid on the 1st, and ovulated on the 8th. I had severe abdomen pains for 4 days. I wouldn't think it would be the Clomid causing the breast pain, as it should be out of your system, and you shouldn't be having anymore O symptoms either, and if you did infact O on the 8th, it would be to early to have any pregnancy symptoms...

Are you on any other medications?

The only other meds that I am taking are metformin and Prenatal vitamins, but I have been taking those for a while now. So I dont think thats it.

Well I am not really sure when I am suppose to test. I am very lost about all this. I am suppose to go have a lab test to see if I O'd on the 18th. But I am thinking that if I O'd on the 8th, my test date would be the 22nd. Im sorry, I sound very ignorant, all this process is confusing to me

My doctor told me that Clomid will stay in your system until you get your period and you can have systems all month. She said either the symptoms will go away when you get your period or will continue because you are pregnant. Right after ovulation my nipples got super sore and sensitive when taking clomid.

It's a VERY confusing process. The only reason I'm not out in left field somewhere is my OB makes me a schedule for each round. He gives me the dates of each medicine I have to take, my u/s date, specific days to DTD, and my test date. If it weren't for that, I'd be so lost.

When does your AF usually show? Mine is super sneaky, she's been coming earlier every month, so as of now I can expect her anywhere between the 21st and 25th... My doc has my test day on the 27th if no AF before.

It's both.

Clomid + ovulation

You are ovulating stronger bc of the clomid. It is causing changes on your hormones ...stronger then without clomid.

I dont ever know when my period is going to come. Its so crazy! It just shows up when it wants to.

Nope the pain hasnt gone away. Last night I had cramp like pain on my right lower abdomen but x's 10. I had white cm this morning, more than usual. No bleeding or spotting. Dont know what that was about.

Oh wow! Did you ovulate already? Im scared of ovulation pain this month as this is my first month on clomid. My ovaries reacted crazily on day 1 of taking it. I didn't sleep both pained me all night. I'm thinking I might ovulate in the next day or two...

Yes, I believe I O'd on the 8th. The day before I O'd I only had a little cramps & the nipple pain. The cramps went away but the nipple pain staid, I still have it.

Hi!!!

Well I did get my first +OPK last night and a few slight ov. pains. Today however I'm getting sharp pains!! Me and hubby DTD last night with Preseed and we'll go at it again for the next 2 - 3 days. Babydust!!!!

Good luck!! I went in for a progesterone lab today. I am hoping and praying that the results are good and I did ovulate!!

Awesome news!!!!

Last night I did another OPK and in less than one minute it was super dark!!! We dtd again... however from I arrived at work I've been having serious ovulation pains. More left side than any. Its been hurting all day!!! Im definitely ovulating today... Im hoping i dont be in this much pain to BD when I get offf... ugh it hurts soooo bad
