Sorry for all my clomid questions.....

Are you supposed to be aware of your ovaries? I dont have pain, just a feeling mild awareness of them...... I am not sure if I am explaining this properly.......

I know exactly what you mean... it's disturbing and I've had it both Clomid cycles. You'll get more "aware" as the month goes on too! It's the ovary expansion due to follicular growth that you're feeling! :) Its a good thing, sweets! :hugs:

Woop woop. I I have aliens in my ovaries turning summersaults. That rocks!xx

and you were high yesterday you and clomid are doing ok together. LOL

Trust me, I'm at CD20... probably O... and I have pain. :) Just wait for THAT part! :hugs:

I have bad bad pain at the best of times. I will be crippled!!!

That sounds normal! The last cycle I did on clomid I could feel my ovaries within a couple of hours of taking my first days pills so I knew I was getting a good response, when I went for my scan on CD14 I had 4 big follicles - boy did I feel them after I had my HCG jab to make sure I ovulated!

Oh my word. Mine are churning away. I am not getting scanned so I dont think I will know for sure, but there is definite activity on both sides! How exciting! I cant get into the bathroom cabinet for 500 ovulation tests, and not just the cheapies, falling on my head. I am hoping not to miss it!

sorry im new to all this and i'v been dx with polycystic ovaries in on metformin but they offered me clomid as ttc and i didnt really no what to say so i said i'll chat to oh first before we make our decision.i'v got an appointment on the 30th of this month so probably go for it but as u ladies are currently using this med could u give me so advise on how it works and what it does?thnx laura x x x

Hi there Laurandan, I am fairly new to clomid and my situation is prob slightly different to most precribed clomid as I dont have problems ovulating, but rather I only have one tube so I am on clomid to improve my chances of ov from the good side.

Clomid can help those who dont ovulate to ovulate. It also produces more eggs and more mature eggs depending where in your cycle you take it.

I would check out the clomid thread- its quite long but very helpful and you will get more info in pcos, which I dont know anything about unfortunately. X Good luck XXXXXX

Hi Crypto

Just thought I'd stick my oar in here and let you know that I've had exactly the same thing on all 3 of my Clomid rounds. I'm only on CD5 and can feel my left ovary expanding - honest!!

I think it's all good though as means the Clomid is doing it's job. But please go and see someone if it gets too painful as there is the risk of hyperstimulation (?).

I also get quite sharp pains when I ovalate - which is useful 'cause I know it's happened!

Anyways, good luck for this cycle

xx

hi babymaybe, thanks for your post. I am not in pain in any way, as yet. I have terrible ov pains at the best of times so it will be interesting to see what happens.
I too find it useful to know although I can never pin down exactly when it happens, before during or after! Nevertheless, it does give a clue and in conjuction with opks its handy.
Good luck for this cycle and let me know how you get on. XXXX

So, Crypto... I lied about CD20. I apparently O'd on CD12, when I originally thought I had. I shouldn't have put so much faith in my chart, when my thermometer was crap! The :witch: got me 9/20... today or yesterday, depending on your location. I still don't know why the pains lasted so long. I had them right up until AF... actually a few here and there even after she arrived. I'm incredibly confused by the lasting pains, but I know my :witch: when I see her. :( I'm just excited that I started all by myself for once! LOL

Good luck with O!

Hi Megg33k maybe I did ov on cd 11. I had positive opks and pains, but I thought that was quite early.

I am still keeping an eye on things.

Thats great your af started itself.

Fingers x for the new cycle and that the thermo does the job! XXX

Hi Crypto, it looks as though you may have ov'd on cd11 if you have another high temp tomorrow!

I got a positive opk on CD10 and early morning on CD11, but it so early! I would be pleased as we bd on cd10 & 11, but still.... I will keep checking the opks!

Maybe it the clomid changing your Ov time. As it was getting all those follicles nice and ready sooner than on their own. Hope so FXXX for you.

oh my word! i really didnt think it was possible. I am about to drag oh to bed just in case, although I should have bd yesterday! Drat!!!!!

I know this is a bit old... but yes... this exactly! Clomid will change your O times, and if you took it 3-7, CD11 isn't really all that unbelievable! :)

Edit: Just looked at your chart again, and I take it all back! LOL Looks like CD17, eh?
