Clomid Question - PLEASE help if you can :-(

Hello ladies,

Af just got me today and im feeling super down.
So Im due to start round 3 Clomid tomorrow (days 2-6).
However, my hubby is away now and wont be back until the day after i'll O'v (its always day 15).
My question is if I take the Clomid a little later, maybe days 3-7 or 4-8 would this make me O'v a little later so we can still be in with a chance this month?

I know I shouldnt mess with the timings but the thought of missing a month of trying is killing me

I don't think it will to be honest. How many months of it have you done so far? When don't you have a break from it this month and keep your tries for later on I think they only let you stay on it 6-9 months. I didn't like the way clomid messed with my moods so a break might do you good and you could still het that bfp off it as it has already kick started your ovulation. Good luck x

Sorry to hear about AF honey, I know how disappointing it is.

Re changing up your cycle a bit, I say go for it. I don't think it can hurt, and I have read about plenty of girls who do.

I don't know many who did 4-8, but plenty do 3-7, so you might as well try it. How many days after your last pill did you ov this cycle?

I always get my positive OPK on day 15 so 9 days after my last tablet.
I think i'll try the 3-7 this cycle, thank you

Thank you Oneday, I know that I prob should have a break but the thought of not being able to try again until September just saddens me too much.

My Dr. has me on Clomid day 5-9. I was on Clomid for 3 months and have now been on a break for two months due to vacations being in the way of our infertility plans. I have found that my cycle is always longer when I have Clomid in my system. It really might not make any difference, but I say go for the change... what could it hurt? Good luck to you!

I know that some people think it may not change ovulation day by changing days of clomid, but when I changed my clomid days, it dramatically changed ovulation for me, for the better!
When I was on 50mg of clomid from day 2-7, I hyperstimulated on day 15 because it created too many lower grade follicles, this was super painful, and non effective for me.
I then went onto 50mg day 5-9 after a two month wait for my ovaries to recover, and have ovulated perfectly well just last cycle!! The first time in 2 years since a m/c! Anyways, to get to the point that I was trying to make at the beginning lol, I ovulate on CD21, with 50mg day 5-9.
It may be different with you, but its worth a shot isnt it?
Now I am on a new cycle, and I am staying positive that I will get my BFP this month.

Absolutely Sazaroo!
I was so happy that I ovulated last month that the joy carried me right through the BFN! LOL!
