Clomid Question???

My first round of clomid I didnt O. my 2nd 3th and 4th I Oed but BFN. Im on my fifth round right now and my folly stopped growing. I am wondering if anyone has had a similar experience when clomid stopped working??? Also I am wondering for people who have had this happen, what there doctor decided to do next??? Thank you so much.

I did 5 rounds of clomid too with this cycle being my 5th and last. With only one follicle being produced the Dr has opted to move to stronger drugs that work differently when we try next time .... we will be moving onto Gonal-F which is an FSH stimulator. After 5 cycles you too should be looking to switch drugs to something stronger that will force ovulation via a different mechanism.

Not sure if you know how clomid works or if you're interested, if so let me know and I can explain it - beauty of working for a pharmaceutical company the Dr seems to explain the drug side of things in a lot more detail for me ....

I have an appointment on the 10th with my RE to talk about what to do next I'm hopping they are gonna put me on something stronger. Do you have a journal??

springy- should you be getting more than one follicle w/clomid? i've only had one each time, but doc didn't seem that concerned...now i'm a little worried. i'm starting round 4 next week. i wish he would just refer me to a specialist already!!!!!!
