I started Clomid on CD 5 (which was cd 4 as you all will see on my chart) and I have a positive opk on cd 15 (really 16) well it is now cd 17 (really 18) and I am still getting like ov pains on my left side. Is that normal? They are sometimes pretty intense.
Just so I don't sound to ridiculous, I was told to count the first sight of any blood (ie: spotting) as cd1. Well on FF cd 1 is counted when you are light flow, so spotting was 1 day earlier then my ff chart shows.
Please help! Thanks ladies!

Edit: Here are the pics of my opk's

Cycle Day 1 is your first day of flow...not spotting.

I was told by my doctor that first sight of blood (ie: spotting) that is considered cd1. I guess maybe some doctors think differently. I have asked several people, nurses and my doctor and they have all told me that cd 1 is considered with the first sight of blood.

That is very strange. I went in for my CD2 blood work and they sent me home and told me to come back the next day because I told them my first day was spotting. I'd be interested to hear what other people's doctors have told them......

I was told first day of spotting too. Clomid could lengthen your cycle, so I would say that your + is CD16. I would plan for AF's arrival 12-14 days later. As far as the "O" pains, I get that before and after O. Good lucK!

i was told that cd1 is the first sign of blood, clomid is meant to also regulate your cycles and shorten then if you have long cycles

Thank you ladies. I thought I was losing my mind! Whew! I guess some doctors prescribe it differently. I am still having some mild cramping on my left side. We have bd'd straight for almost 12 days now. (Except Christmas due to hubby was too happy from some crown and ginger ale! lol) I think right now it's in God's hands. So we will see! Good luck ladies and thank you for your responses! Sending baby :dust: to all of us!
