clomid starting in june??

Hello ladies I have had my follicle scan today and shows a 17mm follicle. So the fn says I am now in my fertile period and to get BDing. I have to go for progesterone on day 24 which is a week on Monday as she thinks day 21 would be too soon.
 
Can I join in here??:flower: I am starting my first round of clomid tonight (cd3-7) Hoping and praying it works for us!
 
Hello Ladies can I join you? I took my clomid from cd 3-7 my last pill was June 17th. I didn't think it was going to work for me but last night on cd 14, I was having bad ovulation pains. I took a opk last night around 10 pm and it was positive. I followed it up with a digital and got a smiley. I took it again this morning and got positives. I also used my cbefm and got a peak today. My temps look weird just wanted to know should I enter a positive opk for yesterday since it was late?

FF shows I will ovulate on cd 16. Do you think that would be correct?

im on CD13 now and havent had a positive OPK yet and my chart is crazy this month.....so we will see what happens!!

we are exact cycle buddies :) except mine was perscribed 2-6.
My side effects were only HOT FLASHES, which I'm still getting, and dull dull headaches, but not too noticeable.

I'm not being monitored though :-s
so i won't know how many follies or anything :nope:
 
I am days 2-6 too. Today was my last tablet for this cycle. This is where it get's interesting hopefully!

I am not being monitored either - the only check I get is bloods on day 21 of cycle.

My symptoms started around day 4 i think. hoooooot flashessssss ughhhh lol

I wish I was getting ultrasounds :( I want to know whats going on in there! lol
 
LOL i wish that i was getting ultrasounds aswell!!
im only getting bloods on CD21.... which is fine but i dont see my doctor until the 17th of july....but i will hopefully be pregnant or starting a new cycle....so it sucks!
my symptoms have just been sore boobs, and cramps now....i get head aches and stuff all the time so im not sure if its me or the clomid.

omg my ovaries are totally alive and kicking! i havnt had a positive opk but i have felt all sorts of action in there all day lol
 
HELP PLEASE!!

A little bit worried today.

It's CD 8 and I have a high on my fertility monitor - is that not a bit early?

I took clomid CDs 2-6.

Also, I have quite severe pain in my left abdomen, which seems to be similar to ovulation pain when I am reading up on that. Now I am concerned I have missed my chance this month, although it seems really really early.

I have been taking my temperature and it's still low.

Can anyone advise? x
 
Clomid can give false highs at around your cycle time. Best thing to do would be to start BD every other night from now and keep checking your temps etc x

Thank you for the reassurance. Do you think the pain isn't linked to ovulation either? I was sure I wasn't going to experience any side effects because everything was fine when I was actually taking the pills.
 
It could be your ovaries kicking into action. Sounds like things are happening for you are you having a scan or bloods done?

Hi no scan, but my bloods are getting done on cd 21. I really really hope they are starting to kick into action! Just wasn't expecting it to happen this early!

I hope things are going well for you too - do you find it beneficial having the information from the scan? x
 
I did to be honest as I really didnt think the Clomid had worked so was nice to hear I did have a follicle. Also helped to pin point when I should be doing it, although one of my friends (training to be a midwife and asked a midwife) said every other day from day 8 then day 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 although I didnt do it that much this first time. I always thought you were meant to do it every other day to allow the sperm to build back up.

I am hoping that I have now ovulated though x

Yes, it's great they are able to tell you that. You know it's worthwhile then.
This is the first time I have charted my temp etc, so will see how I get on with that - I always thought every other day too, but everything is worth a try!

Will have everything crossed for you and hope you get a BFP this cycle.

Feeling low ladies, am cd 19 of a 28/29 cycle & don't think I've ov this month on clomid (1st month). Cbfm is giving me low readings & opks in late afternoon are negative!:cry:

Last month I wasnt on clomid & I never ovulated according to the cbfm. What's going on with me? Do you think I should try & go to the docs tomorrow to see if I can get cd21 bloods done to see?

Am starting to get worried now as when I saw FS in April I had ov but I haven't since that month!:cry:
 
Hi Lexus, I would try and get bloods done have you just been left to take the clomid and get on with it?
