clomid starting in june??

Hi Lexus15, try not to feel disheartened. I know it's not easy.

Are you on 50mg? How long have they given you it for?

I am new to clomid too so I don't want to try and advise you on it, but I promised myself if it didn't work I would keep going with it. I am on 50mg for 3months and then if it doesn't work they will up the dosage.

It may just take a bit of time for it to work.

I don't blame you for feeling low, but don't give up. Just keep talking on here and we can all help each other!

I am not sure if the bloods will help at this stage but if it helps to reassure you then you should ask your doctor.

Yep on 50mg days 2-6. My FS at the hspt said to me 'ok I think we should try clomid' & that my GP would prescribe it, however the GP (not my regular) was quite negative about it.

She will only prescribe it when I need it on a monthly basis (so will have to wait for AF, visit docs & get clomid for the month AFTER AF as it could/may be to late by time AF starts e.g. sat morning). The doc said she won't give it to me every month & that she recommended only using it for 3 tries!

It's amazing how doctors have different takes on it.

I reckon you should make an appointment with your regular doc and speak with them.

I was prescribed it by the specialist at the hospital and then the doc gave me the prescription, but they didn't question it.

I have been told they won't prescribe it any longer than 6 months though.

I don't think you need the extra stress of having to go back for further prescriptions. Definitely go to your regular doc and see what they have to say.

i have had 2 positive OPKs now 2 days in a row!! so we are hoping for a miracle this month!
bloods in 5 days....but prob wont get the results until we go back to the doctor on the 17th of july.
i have been very very (TMI) dry the past few days hoping its the clomid!!

I tried to book an appt to see docs today but they couldn't see me so the receptionist said he will ask my regular GP to ring me. This is when I'm going to ask/request a blood test for cd21 (tomorrow) & a repeat of the clomid.

Fx I get them! Got a low on cbfm this morning & I don't want to waste my time doing anymore tomorrow until next month!.xx

It may very well be the clomid causing the dryness.

I have been having back ache and really sore boobs for days think it is the side effects of the Clomid x

Hi - I'm back with a BFP!! First cycle using clomid - I was so unsure that I wanted to take it, but it gave me 3 large follies and now a BFP!!! I am obviously now completely petrified about all the things that can go wrong.. but it's the most hope I've had in over 2 years of TTC.

how's the rest of you doing?

hey HappyDaze huge congratulations to you. I am so very jealous he he. I am waiting for Af who is apparantly due on monday. I had my bloods done on Day 24 and results were 48.3 so I defoo ovulated.
