Clomid Success anyone?

Hey girls,

I can't seem to find any success stories on BnB regarding m/c and clomid. Was anyone brave enough to use clomid during this time and still got a sticky bfp? did you wait until your first period after then use it and fall pregnant right away? did you experience any different symptoms this time round?

Didnt want to read and run. I had clomid a few years ago but it didn't do anything for me, but have heard of other successful stories x

I used 50mg of clomid for the first time in September and got a bfp but had an early mc at 5 weeks. We waited one cycle and used it again in November and I got my bfp again. I am 6 weeks today and praying this one sticks!

I got pregnant naturally (after trying for 5 yrs) but had a stillbirth in June 2011 bc of a cord accident. Two months later I took my first round of femara/letrozole and got pregnant!! It is similar to clomid but has less side effects.

A friend's wife had a m/c and shortly after went on Clomid. Her first time around with Clomid, she got a , and now they have an adorable little girl who just turned 1!

As part of my last job i was involved with the ladies having their fertility scans and egg retrieval, etc.

Many times all the lady needed was a bit of clomid to get a bean

I've been told not to take clomid while miscarrying. I just have no idea what will happen with my cycles. Before falling pregnant the clomid was bringing ovulation forward to cd23, then cd19 before that I was waiting until cd40+ - I just have no idea if the old clomid will still work or if my stupid body has gone and reset to stupid long cycles

Tanzibar, about to start clomid in January and could not agree with you more! Soo wish there was a thread devoted just to clomid!!!! I need to know side effects, how to tell if you are ovulating etc. Have had two miscarriages on my own so nect step for me is clomid. Wishing you all the luck in the world!!!!

The side effects I had from clomid were hot flushes and occasion mood swings that was about it, most women who I've spoken to say thats their only side effects too. The cycle where it worked I took the stuff cd2-6 and in the morning too. Some women like to take it just before bed so they won't feel the side effects as much. Wish you all the luck in the world too - you never know we both may not even need it, maybe some january bfps are on the cards for us, xxxx

I've had 2 losses & I took Clomid CD5-9, this was my 2nd cycle & got a BFP yesterday at 8DPO. I had bad cramping around O time (It hurt so bad O day while DTD) & it lasted for a couple days afterwards.. I was terrified it was OHSS & DR said to keep an eye on it, but the pain went away around 3DPO. that was my only side effect

It took three cycles of clomid to conceive my DS after my miscarriage. Lost pregnancy in March of 2009, but wasn't ready to start trying for a while. Started on clomid in September and was pregnant by December 2009.
