Clomid users - first round

Hi ladies,

I'm on my first ever round of clomid and today was CD6 and the last clomid pill to take! I have been very lucky so far as I haven't had any side effects from the drug which is a blessing. Before I took the Clomid I was on a 12 day course of Provera to induce a bleed as I haven't had a natural ad since Jan 2013.

I was wondering if the ladies that are also on clomid BD thorought AF and how many days after taking the drug should Ovulation occur? I'm worried that as hubby and I haven't bd since I started AF last Wednesday that we may miss something. I'm still bleeding today although not as heavy.

Would you recommend that hubby and I start up again even though AF hasn't finished yet? X

They say to start bd around day 7 of your cycle I believe. And then every other day for 10-14 days. You should be taking opks or basal body temps to see when you ovulate. I'm on 100mg clomid and my fifth month of being on it. They have just increased the dosage for me. I have ovulated each time, and just had my progesterone level checked. It was lower than it should be on clomid. Finger crossed for you!

When on clomid days 3-7, I ovulated around day 15. So I would start BD as soon as your bleeding stops, every other day until you confirm ovulation, or until your period starts again, whichever you prefer.

I'm on my 3rd round of Clomid. My doctor told me to do it every other day from day 10-14, but I've been getting positive OPKS between days 9-16. We usually start trying the day af is over. I have to take my temp every morning and that has helped me get a timing pattern of when things occur. Good luck to you!

Hi ladies thank you for the replies!

I'm really concerned that this round of clomid hasn't worked

Been taking OPKs since AF finished and I'm now CD 16 with negative OPKs! Hubby had to stay away Wednesday and yesterday so we weren't able to BD but with negative OPKs I wasn't overly concerned.....I'm testing around 6pm every evening. Is there a chance I could have missed my peek??? So confused !!
