Hi everyone - I'm kinda new (to this site - love it but its so slow to load so i don't post much)
I just wanted to get your thoughts on these 2 drugs & which you prefer or have had better results with.
my background is that I'm 42 & have now been TTC'ing for #2 for 8 months (just starting cycle 9 https://www.planetsmilies.com/smilies/sad/sad0139.gif)
this time around i have had 1 chem pg (pos hpt at 2 days pre af) & a m/c at 6 weeks
when trying for DD we tried for 17mths (with 1 m/c at 10 weeks) before carrying DD to term.
i previously had progesterone check at dpo7 & was 36.8 - but this was on my chem pg cycle.
i have now had some tests tracking FSH, LH, Pestradiol & Progesterone through from CD8, CD15 (ovulation day) & CD25 (ie DPO10)
FSH went from 6 to 9 to 2 (all within normal ranges for various stages of cycles)
LH from 5 to 12 to 3 (again normal ranges)
Oestradiol from 142 to 225 to 191 - CD8 being normal however CD15 well below normal range at 550 & DPO10 being at the lower end of the normal scale at 180
Progesterone from <0.3 to 3.3 to 10.1 - the follicular & mid cycle ranges are on the lower side of normal with the DPO10 being below stated normal of 12 - this was the day my spotting started on my cycle
i think i'm oing but not strongly enough to hold. I've had m/c panel done which all came back as normal except my TSH which was 7.3 (norma 0.3-5)
I've got my first appt with fertility spec on Thursday & want to be armed with as much information as possible
any thoughts anyone - please? at 42 my clock is definitely running down & i need to give my body a kick start but am worried about the risks of multiples with clomid (my last pg was hard with gestational diabetes & blood pressure problems - so coupled with my age I am extremely high risk now & twins would take too much strain on my body & risk the health of the babies). I have also heard that the Femara does not affect CM as much as i am having issues with a lack of CM as it is
here's my charts https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/SuzieHopeful2
TIA (sorry this was long)
