Clothes?

I know im not even pregnant yet lol but this confuses me. Ive looked on 1000 websites that give guidelines as to what to buy but every single time the clothes guidlines change!

So, i guess my question is what clothes did you find you NEEDED, and how much of it? Like how many vests, sleepsuits etc.

I got so so confused with this aswell lol!

Essential wise I bought my LO 10 vests, so that way i've got a fresh one for every day plus 3 extra. I also bought an extra 3 to pop in my hospital bag. I've also bought 12 sleepsuits. 6 plain for nightware & 6 coloured for dayware. As before i've bought an extra 3 for my hospital bag. LO has also got 10 pairs of socks, once again a pair for each day plus extra. 3 pairs of scratch mittens and 2 pairs for hospital bag. 2 pairs of booties & 1 pair foer hospital bag. 1 hat & 1 for hospital bag. I've added to these essentials with a few other cute outfits. All this stuff was bought in Newborn size

I've also bought the same all over again minus the hospital bag stuff in size 0-3 months!!

Thanks! See its the sizes that confuse me, cos you cant predict the birth weight obviously!
I've fallen in love with Next sleepsuits and vests. They are absolutly gorgeous!

If you dont mind, which part of Luton are you from? As my OH is from there and has family up there. x

I've not followed those. I've just bought what I wanted,and thought would be right. I think she has abit to many socks though, 41 pairs, haha. I can't resist everytime I go shopping! But some are bigger than others.

I know they're only guidelines, and usually they say between 6 and 10 sleepsuits. But that, to me, does not sound enough.

I know when the time comes i will probably go mad, buying everything i see. Lol! Like you, with your 41 pairs of socks

41 pairs of socks?!!!

so far my little man has 1pack of 5 pairs of socks and was planning on buying 1 more pack of 5. and 6 little bootie things.
15 vests in newborn size. and 6 in 0-3 months.
Only got 4 sleepsuits at the moment but was planning on buying quite a few
and also some in 0-3 aswell as newborn.
1 snowsuit in 0-3 months (hes due end of oct)
2 little coats/jackets
and so far has about 10 different outfits, some newborn and some 0-3.
Hes got about 4 little hats that came with outfits. Just need to get some scratch mits and im guessin alot of bibs!

I havnt got a clue how much i need of anything im just guessin and i know he will have far to many clothes anyway as i buy anything i think is cute!!
