CM...or Semen? (TMI)

SO... starting to chart this month and wondered this..... How do you check your cervical Mucus if you are also having regular sex?
As obviously sperm is floating about as well as mucus but is there a way to differentiate between the two? xxx

Im guessing you cant really tell. I suppose if we are at it every other night then it wont matter as we should catch out O period eh? Although obviously it would be useful to know i get it in case i have to use pre-seed or something to help the swimmers!! lol xx

This is what I've found from an answers type website. I had heard about the first one before. Possibly on this board?

Egg White V Semen

1. Egg White will ball up and sink in Water and will remain stretchy when retrieved. Semen will float and dissolve.

2. Egg White will stretch repeatedly. Semen may stretch once or twice, but not for much longer.

3. Egg White is very shiny, and clear or slightly opaque. Semen is less shiny and creamy.

4. Egg White will stretch to form several thin strands. Semen stretch with just one strand.
