Ryans been a bit stuffy tonight so we're in bed just now but he sounds all blocked up and I just don't like the sound of it! What do you do if your baby's stuffy in bed?

We run a humidifier. I know they don't recommend pillows or anything but we did let Hayden sleep in his boppy right next to me if he was really congested, but only from a few months and up where I knew he was able to move his face if it somehow got covered though I was very aware of where he was. I also let him sleep with his head on my arm sometimes to elevate his head some

Thanks I will try letting him sleep on my arm cos I don't know what a boppy is  x

Hope he feels better soon!!

Leyla was a snot monster for a while and my mum told me to get some Olbas Oil for children - it really seemed to help at night. I also got some stuff that's like Vicks for babies (I think it's from Boots and called Mild Vapour Rub or something like that) but by the time I got that she was better so I don't know if it would help. Before I got that, I'd put some normal Vicks on my chest so that she could smell it a bit but it wasn't too strong or touching her skin. That seemed to help a bit too, though she wasn't very keen on the smell!

I put eucalyptus oil on a wet flannel and put it over the radiator.
