Hey girls,
I know some of us have spoken about this before, but what do you think, will you do this, are you doing this?
I have been doing this with hollie, only when she wakes up after her 6am feed i put her in my bed with me, but some nights im feeling bit lonely and i've put her straight in with me, it is just me being selfish wanting her in bed with me, or does it help with more bonding?
I no me and her have a good interaction as my dr said so last week as she woudlnt take her eyes off me, and when i would speak she smiled etc

Hollie does sleep in her cot though, so am i doing wrong with having her in both?
I know it came be trouble getting them n there own bed when they were older, i was the same with my mum xxx

my health visitor told me never, under any cirumstances bring my baby into my bed at all? not only is it very dangerous but they willas you say get too attached x

Yeah they say that HV but most people will put LO's in bed with yourself xxx

Shelx, actually I got given a leaflet on how to cosleep safely when I left hospital with Alasdair when he was a newborn. I think it's perfectly acceptable if done safely but that's just my opinion.

Back to original question, I coslept with Alasdair very little, maybe every other night for the first 7 months then FOB and I split. We'd just had to move Ally into his own room as he was really unsettled at night from about 6 months and after hardly any sleep, when we broke up, I started bringing him into my bed on a nightly basis. Alasdair would go to sleep in his cot by himself then when he woke up between 11pm and 1am I'd bring him in with me. We did that until he was 11 months.

I always felt like it was more for me, than him...and it made me feel bad but Alasdair is turning into a well adjusted, happy toddler and I'd do it again for definite.

Kyla sleeps soo much better in our bed, even when we're both in it! We don't let her in very often though, just in the mornings when she goes back to sleep after her bottle x

i think its fine, long as your carefull keep the duvet away from her etc. :D
