I have a co-worker who gave birth 3 months early (thankfully baby is breathing!!!wow!!) But in order to be sensitive it may be best for me to keep my pregnancy milestones to myself. I am worried for her and if she loses the newborn I dont want to be a trigger for her. I want to celebrate my own but so concerned. I am due Sept 11. Its hard because I previously had a m/c a year ago(another co worker of mine successfully had hers a month after my m/c) and am so excited to be pregnant after trying for 2 years and giving up. Thoughts?

Kudos to you! You are definitely a good person for considering her feelings. I know plenty of people who would just blab without thinking.

My advice is to follow your gut feeling, which sounds like it's saying that you should "mute" your pregnancy milestones when she is around. Or wait until people at work ask you about your pregnancy--as time goes on and your bump gets bigger, coworkers will certainly ask, and that might be the best time to happily talk about it.

Just my two cents. :) GL

I understand
What your saying and its really nice of you to be considerig her feelings but personally i wouldnt keep it hush simply because u have been waiting ages for this pregnancy, and its not like you and her are in the same situation, i would understand if
She had come back from a scan and found out something bad had happened but she jus had a baby a lil early like i did. My daughter was born at 7 months and it wouldnt have bothered me at all if someone was pregnant.. Id have
been very happy.... Now if someone gave birth and got to take there baby home and hold and feed there baby whenever they want id feel slightly jealous just because of the restrictions that are in place in neonatal units but not of a pregnancy
But thats just my opinion based on having been through a premature birth x hope your co worker and baby are ok x
