I normally get them on my lips but i think i've got one just on the edge of my nose! delightful!

Oh I know this is an old post but so glad I found it I currenty have a cold sore on my nose was surfing to see if this was sign of pregnancy and found a lot of things that said yes then found this page an all of you who had them are pregnant, I'm in my 2 ww an was feeling really negative this post as really gave e hope so thank you ladies congrats on your bfp's hope you're all blooming x let's hope my scabby nose is worth it x

Yes I had an outbreak at 3 dpo and normally only take medicine for 3 day then it's gone but had to take it for a week to get rid of it this time have not had one since then. I find chocolate and nuts bring them on.

coldsores often (not always) appear as a result of a weakened immune system. When a woman becomes pregnant, her immune system weakens so as not to fight off the baby which is seen by the body as a foreign invader. this goes for all the herpes viruses. Herpes 1 (common cold sores), Herpes 1 and 2 (genital cold sores otherwise know as "herpes") and Herpes Zoster (shingles).

Yep. I think I was 8 weeks and I woke up with a huge one. Next day woke up with a big one on the opposite side!

Im a little nervous asking about this because its so embarrassing to me .___. But I have irregular periods since like last year apparently and I just missed it again, but only this time I have like 4 cold sores that came out of NO WHERE. I use to get them freq. but only when I was sick or running a fever. I wanted to know, if this is an actual pregnancy sign?

I'm a dental hygienist, so I see a lot of cold sores. They're caused by all kinds of things, so I'd say if you had them with other pregnancies it could be a good sign. They can also come on with stress, spicy foods, or just on their own for no apparent reason. Good luck! I hope it's a pregnancy sign for you!

You ticker says you're 68 weeks pregnant lol
