Combination feeding & good weight gain!

No real news but I have to post that I am delighted my daughter is thriving on combined breast & bottle. 8lb12 to 9lb9 in a week

When I switched to combo feeding, he went from 8lb 9oz to 9lb 7oz the first week!

Me too, doctor was really concerned with Autumns slow gaining and her super skinny arms and legs. They weighed her before and after a feed and recommended top ups. Shes not even having that much formula and she gained 10 1/2 ounces in 6 days.
Doctor things I can take her off the formula once shes caught up completely!

congrats! i just swtiched to combi feeding, my Lo weighed 12lbs at his 4 month mark (only put on 1lb in 2 months) then he dropped to 10.8, and i started to combi feed and its been almost 2 weeks and hes up to 13lbs!

yey for us combi feeders!!!

I feed 15 mins each side then offer formula just 3 times/day. (Right after bf} Rest ls just boob.

My situation is a bit different in that I'm working full time and my OH is a SAHD, so I would pump at the same time he'd give a bottle of EBM or formula. I couldn't pump enough for a full feed, so some of them would be formula. I breastfed him exclusively at night, before work, and also come home to feed him at lunch time. It got to the point that I was spending too much time at work pumping for only 2-3oz (total for the day), so I quit pumping and thus had to go to formula for all the day feeds. I continued to exclusively breast feed him at night, before work, and I still go home for a lunch feed.

Supply - no - luckily I have always had loads.
Nipple confusion - no but she has just started to get lazy on the boob
