No point to this post other than I'm so proud to have my 2 month cow blinkie :)

There were days I wouldn't have believed we'd get this far.

Well done me. :)

Why are you proud if yourself today? Us mummies deserve to tell ourselves "well done" every once in a while as we're all so hard on ourselves.

Great post and congrats!!
I'm proud that my 4 year old helped my cleaner today whilst I am living it up on bed rest.

Not given birth yet, but I got off my ass and did some housework. I'm pretty proud of that!

I'm so proud of my two month blinkie too! We had such a tough start and now we both enjoy nursing so much, and are so relaxed, that she's regularly falling asleep on the boob. I never thought we'd get here but after four lactation consultants and two tongue tie procedures I'm proud I persevered.

Iam proud of my 7 month blinki :) didn't ever think we'd get this far either lol also proud of managing to get my daughter to nap while her teeth are bugging her alot Yey

I don't have a blinkie because LO has one bottle of formula a day, but I'm still proud to have got this far. Only made it to 5 months with DS1 so 6 months is an achievement :D

I am reeeeeeally proud I have done 6 months of breast feeding!! I am enjoying it so much. Just so easy now! My next goal is a year!

Proud of breastfeeding through nights to this stage, not pumped for feeds.. Yet. We are however going to start this weekend so I get to sleep lol xx

It's a BF milestone badge doesn't have to be exclusive :D xx

I'm proud of my 25 month blinkie. My first goal was to get to 6 months, then 12, now who knows! And if there was an 'exclusively pumped for 5 months for twins' blinkie I'd be proud of that too lol.

Yay for all our blinkies :D

Cupcake, you go girl! Before you know it (unfortunately) you will be at 6 months!

Twinmommy06, good for you! That is awesome.

IrelandsOwn, we started out similar to you. So glad things are going well.

Everybody good job!

We will be at 8 months on the 1st. We had bruised, cracked, and bleeding nipples from the first 24hrs. Had pain through the first 5 months and our poor soon screamed through his feeds and when put down for the first three months (colic diagnosis). I am proud that I didn't listen to our GP and the pediatrician on the colic and went with my gut and kept looking for answers. Finally had DS's tongue tie released again and then a third time at 4 months. Finally our pain was almost gone! I even though things are so much better we still have days where it feels like my son's mouth is sandpaper and we still keep on going. Through everything we have short goals and keep surpassing them. I am proud to have my beautiful baby boy, something I was told I would never be able to have, and so proud I can give him the best start in life and nurse him when I was told I probably wouldn't be able to do that successfully either. :D

You deserve a blinkie anyway! I don't see how one bottle could change that. :) Be proud! :)

I'm proud of all of you ladies! I'm pleased my LO and I have made it this far. Monday will be 11 months, when I only previously made nine before drying up. Now that we're so close to my 12 month goal I'm thinking ahead to 18 months, and also hopeful for two years and beyond. FX'ed for all of us!

I'm very very proud to be just 20 days away from 2 years of breast feeding. Only managed three days with my first son, which still hurts :-( So, yay!!

I'm proud that we're approaching 4 years, and over a year of tandem nursing. I feel a bit silly saying it, because for the most part, it's been a breeze. If I'd had half the difficulties some of the ladies have had on here, I'm not sure I could have made it through.

4 years is incredible Tacey.

I see by your signature your DD stopped and then restarted? Tell me more. :)

 thanks

Yes, she announced entirely out of the blue one morning that she didn't want to nurse ever again. I thought that was pretty unlikely, as she would literally skip into my room in the morning with excitement! Anyway, she stuck to it, and didn't nurse for 2 or 3 months. One morning she gave me a cuddle and said "actually, I've changed my mind. I haven't stopped after all." To be honest, I was a bit uncertain. It had been such an easy progression, and obviously, at 3 and a half, we were quite some way out of societal expectation for breastfeeding! I decided to go with it, thinking she might try and give up, but she was as keen as she'd ever been. I decided to limit her to once a day, and that's what we've stuck to.

It's actually lovely, because before she stopped first time round, I felt agitation. No where near as bad as in pregnancy, but it wasn't a nice experience. It seemed sad to end it on a negative. Now, we have a brief, but lovely connection in the morning, and she often nurses at the same time as Arthur, which they both find hilarious.

If she stopped nursing tomorrow, I'd be delighted, but I'm happy to keep on while she wants to. Taking each day as it comes!

Tacey: wow!

I'm proud that I've made it through 7.5 months of breastfeeding. I'd like to go on for as long as my daughter wants to.
