Coming off cerazette now TTC? Also what does everyone think of belly?

Hiya everybody - i'd like to apologise in advance as this may be long. Also i'm not sure if this is in the right catergory.
Basically i was on the cerazette pill and when i missed it a few times and started taking it again my nipples (excuse the language lol) really hurt so in case i was pregnant i didnt want to harm the baby - well i had my withdrawal bleed and that lasted 4 days, was hell though as it was so heavy, so i just thought i wasnt pregnant but took a test a week later anyway just to be sure and it was negative and then another one a few days later still negative. After the two tests i did i got the slightest ever bleed possible only when i wiped myself and i never get tiny bleeds its either i'm gonna be heavy or not at all, and by this time me and other half said we wanted to start trying and so i guessed it may be implantation bleeding. This was on the 8th - 9th march, so i havent tested or anything cause i want to wait longer. Anyways so i've had the worst symptoms ever. My boobs have never ever hurt me in the past not even for my pms so i knew something was going on as soon as that started and i dont really feel like i'm going to be sick but i feel sicky if you know what i mean like i know im not gonna puke or ote yet i feel i am that dont make sense but hopefully you'l know what i mean lol. My back's been killing and my head has been hurting a lot. Hmm... My boobs arent tender they just hurt like stabbing pains and same in the womb area. Also the main thing is my stomach, i usually have a flat stomach and all of a sudden i piled on 6lbs in a week and now bloating is unbelieveable! i look pregnant by the end of the day, well not like 8 months but it the early stages. Did anyone notice that your belly starts from your womb rather than your stomach, like your wombs swollen cause this is what my belly looks like. I'm going to attach the pictures so you can see. Now when you look at them you might be like 'what's she on about?!' but if you imagine it with a flat stomach then how it is now you'll see what i mean.
I've been extremely tired like falling aslep at 8! not usual for me lol - really hungry for everything, i've ate 3 cans of rice pudding in a day just have a craving for it, also when i'm hungry im starving its not just like im feeling peckish its more im starving im never just in between. Whenever i stand i feel so dizzy all the time but only when i stand up. It's been about 41days since my last really heavy bleed but that was only withdrawal bleeding and 21days since the light one (maybe implantation).
Although i could be mistaking this for symptoms after coming off the pill, so I'm just really confused. Can anybody help me please. and again i'm ever so sorry for it being that long.

When I came off cerazette I had the worst pregnancy symptoms ever including bloating and water retention, the constant feeling of fullness in the pelvis the whole lot, but no pregnancy. The withdrawal is tough but the symptoms do improve. I'd say 6 months down the line my cycles are only just regulating so hang in there. It's easy to let it concern you and someone telling you to relax probably won't help Good luck.

I had the same when I came off cilest in October 08 - it's horrible because it really makes you think you could be pregnant (I had the same - dizziness, sickness, bloating and painful boobs) - I ended up taking about 5 tests in a couple of weeks because I was so convinced!! I agree with Jolinar - i'm only just starting to get regular cycles - my longest was 62 days - it's very confusing! Might be an idea to take another test though, to put your mind at rest either way? Hi I came off cerazette in january and yea had loads of pregnancy symptoms. My bbs were really tender (couldn't even touch them) and i felt permantly exhausted and felt nausious lots of the time. Unlike you though i really didn't wanna eat anything and had to force myself coz was getting faint. Had a withdrawl bleed cd37 and waiting for the next one but think its gunna b a long cycle. On cd29 now and no sign of ov or anything but just gotta wait it out. I could be wrong but i wouldn't get your hopes up about being pg, its probably the hormones starting to get out of your system. Same here - I came off Cerazette in Dec 08 and had every pregnancy symptom going - all I was missing was the baby part! lol. I did get better though, and i have had 3 regular 30-34 day cycles since!

good luck - hope you feel better! you never know it still may be a bfp for you.

I looked very bloated for a month or so after coming of bcp, and have just realised i also get it before af arrives.

hi came off cerazette 11/01/2010 after only being on it 2wks had signs of pregnacy but 2 tests that was negative.started bleeding 3wks after stopping was bleeding for 8 days then stopped for 3 days then started again for anthor 6days then stopped for 8 days and started again today can anyone say that they are experincing the same.MY belly is the same to i look like i am about 5mths preggy at the moment too.i am new to here so not sure if i have done this right any advise would be great thanks x

when i came off cerazette i had AF twice then not another for 6 months...then i had them every few weeks for a few months and its only been since december that my cycle is becoming more like it was at the minute im cycle day 46 (i think) and they are usually 3 month cycles makes getting PG a bit more difficult but i managed it with DS2 but am struggling a bit now

Really hoping this is a sign that something positive is happening in my body and maybe an AF is on the way.

Thought I would throw this open to you all , after stopping cerazette nearly three weeks ago I too have had all those annoying pregnancy symptoms nausea , sore boobs that look like a road map ( veins ) , and a constant need to pee and the period pain but nothing ! I did miss a few pills at the end of the pack and know it is too early to detect a positive test as it is still early days , I would love to be pregnant have been blessed twice already so not the be all and end all but it is very frustrating going to wait till the 8th June then do a test, we shall see !

Hope you're all ok! Just found this thread through google when searching 'fertility after Cerazette' and I am so glad I did and to find I am not alone!!!
Got married Nov '09 and stopped taking Cerazette to get my body back in a 'cycle' before TTC. I was on it for 3 yrs and never had a period. Took 5 months for me to have a period (although had regular pains& some quite severe) and it was the worst one EVER, the pain was shocking, very heavy bleed and it lasted 2 weeks. Had 1 the following month, not as bad...that was 10 weeks ago and not had another since...
..been having loads of stomach cramps tho, really sore boobs, sick feeling and heavy feeling in lower abdomen (worse when I walk,feels like I need to hold it to ease the pain)
wasted money on about 6 tests, all negative of course!
It's very concerning to see how many women have experienced these problems..
Fingers crossed we're all in regular cycles soon
Going to the GP next month if still no P, been off the pill for 8months now! eek!

I did the same as Wallflower, i was on Cerazette for 7 years with no period, came off it in february and my periods started again after 3 weeks, but they have stopped again after 6 months of TTC with no joy! Has anyone had any luck TTC after so long of being on Cerazette? Just to put my mind at ease xx

HI i came off cerazette and ttc baby no 3!
My periods returned like clockwork which was surprising, Now been off cerazette since late march realy april still no sign.s of pregnancy or ovulation.

Wondering how long it is going to take to come out of my system, Friends who were ttc either just before or around the same time as me are pregnant already!!
Any tips????

Came off pill in the middle of the pack, just because me and OH had BD without condom, so just in case the pills should harm the baby, i over thinked and quit the pill. so then all hell broke loose. totally pregnancy symptoms. constipation, nausea, 2 days of total tiredness and sleeping, lost my apetite, i am still woozy and feeling weak all the time. cant focus on anything, feeling like my mind is blank. and i catch myself staring at one point occasionally. and well it's like being inside a bubble. weird anyway. it's been 3 weeks since i quit the pill (maybe even more), pregnancy symptoms have gone away (and well BFN after 8 tests also is a good proof it wasn't pregnancy ), only thing that's still here is the weakness and dizziness. AF hasn't come, yet.

PS! i was on yasminelle for many years, then came to uk, they didn't give me that, since i was smoking, so took cerazette for 5-6 months, and then started with something with a lower dose (can't remember the name). So not sure which pill has effected me.
