Hi ladies,

I'm after a bit of advice .

Firstly I will give a little background info - I've been TTC with current DDDDP for 3 years. I took 6 months of 100mg Clomid from last August till January this year and was thrilled when we got our first ever :bfp:on the last month course.

Unfortunately this ended in mmc in March :sad1:and I am now back on the Clomid - am on month 4 of another 6 month course.

My question is this - should I bother with the remaining 2 months or let my body heal and recover from all of these drugs? I'm in a dilemna after seeing a private OBGYN last week who told me that Clomid is useless for women who ovulate on their own, which I do. He also said that it starves the endometrium of oestrogen which could have contributed to our loss .

Does anyone have any helpful advice?

Many thanks in advance and :dust:to you all.

Hi, firstly, sorry for your loss, did not want to read and run, I started my first round of clomid on Sunday as I do not ovulate on my own... its difficult to say what to do, it seemed to help you conceive last time, maybe it helps with the size of eggs etc whereas nature maybe does not get them big enough? clutching at straws, worth asking him why he feels it is useless when it worked in the past maybe? has he said to come off them?

hugs
