Conception after ovulation (tmi)

Hi ladies,

Just wondering if anyone conceived after their day of ovulation? And did this produce a boy or girl for you?

I had a positive ovulation test on the Friday and hubby & I dtd on the sat and sun. I'm 98% sure it's a girl... Find out for sure in 3 weeks!!

With DS, it was quite a few days after ovulation I conceived him.

With this baba, it was either before on on the day, resulting in a girl.

I don't think it matters when you conceive to determine what you're having.

My friend conceived a few days after her ovulation and had a girl.
Another friend conceived before and is having a boy.

Darn it! And there's me thinking this could be the thing to help me get an accurate guess!

When u say ovulation test do u mean the ones that detect the LH surge? If so if ur surge was fri u wold have ov on either sat or sun as the surge happens 24-48 hours prior to ov, or did u mean u actually ovulated detected by temp ?
Dtd after actual ov is meant to sway girl due to the acidity change in the vagina are u hoping for a girl or boy?
