A bit random I know lol

But what age do you start using conditioner on your LO's hair?

I have a couple of times on Elyse but it doesn't make any difference, so I guess she doesn't need it yet.. lol.

But when do they??

I have used it on Rosie for a few months cos she has super long hair and she gets everything stuck in itand it helps get everything out  I use Johnsons baby conditioner smells soo nice! they have also just brought out a new leave in tangle spray that I will be buying lol x

Ooh I was wondering this too because I couldn't find any in the shops anywhere. Erin's hair often gets really crazy and fuzzy at the back, so I've used my conditioner a few times just on the back of her head and its worked really well and made the hair nice and soft...

Not sure what age you're meant to start doing it though....

Elyse's hair gets fuzzy at the back too!! But after she sleeps it's right back at it :dohh:

I don't know if I'm supposed to trim it or just stick it out until it grows when it's wild like this?? Hers is curly

Its fine for it to be wild hun....you dont ever have to use conditioner on babys or kids hair really, I only use it so I can brush Rosie's hair easier cos it gets tangled x

i have no idea tash, but I could suggest Paul Mitchell baby shampoo......Alexanders hair is super soft after using it and its good for body wash too!

i started using a 2 in one shampoo / conditioner at about 12 months before he had his first hair cut mostly becasue his hair went a little frizzy after being washed or when he had been asleep and had a few little tangles. i still use it as i havent run out yet even though his hair isnt as long anymore :)

i think i actually started using baby conditioner around 8months?? could of been earlier or later, for us, it just make it easier to brush etc. like paula said, probably not needed, but i like it for her. we too started with the baby conditioner, now use the kids shampoo and conditionerx

Hi Tasha! I started using conditioner on my DD's hair when she was about 2. She has thick and somewhat curly hair like me and it tangles really easy especially at the back of her head at night. I just use adult conditioner...whatever brand I have in the bath. I just make sure to only put it in the back and sides of her hair so when I rinse it doesn't go in her face. I use a lot of it too so I can make her hair really soft and get all the tangles out easily.

I started using conditioner on RR's hair when she was around 12mths (she is almost 2 now), that's only because she got the bulk of her curly hair then.

I think its fine to use to de-tangle and soften every so often.

I occasionally use wax on her hair too, , which I will get slated for but the curls are crazy. ;)

I use L'oreal 2 in 1 no tears on Jasmine. Babies don't need real conditioner though. And I only actually wash Jasmine hair a couple times a week, the rest of the time it doesn't even get wet.

We started before first birthday because she had really long hair and it was easier when brushing.
Twins have 3 hairs on their head so no need for that lol

I've used the Johnsons one a few times as her hair is super fuzzy at the back, I don't use it all the time just prob once a week.

i dont think there is an age, i would only use it if they need it not dependant on how old they are
Leah is almost 9 and i have only ever used conditioner on her hair when i do a monthly nit check lol

my LO like paula85s LO as very long thick hair and i have been using baby conditioner for LO hair since she was about 9 months because it used to get every thing in it and knot up really bad
