Confused about what EWCM should look like (may be tmi!)

I have been told I am hostile to my OH. I have been taking more notice of my CM, and have googled this, but can't really find an answer...

I definately produce a lot of Cm around ovulation, but it's like (tmi coming up) large blobs of a gel like consistancy. When I wipe, I can get quite long blobs, sometimes a couple of inches long. They are stretchy, but I'm not sure they are as EWCM is described - they don't stretch far and stay as blobs. Research says they should be watery?

They are also not clear - for the last few years they have been a beige colour. Is this normal? I have no other signs that I might have any sort of infection? I'm sure they used to be clearer, but can't really remember... There is a slight smell, but it's not offensive and I'm not sure whether that's normal either - the best way to describe it would be to say it smells a bit like perming solution??

Apologies for TMI but I have spend many hours googling and can't find any answers. I'm wondering whether to ask my GP if I should get tested for infection, just to make sure there's nothing wrong that I have missed?

That rounds like ewcm hun. Mine isn't clear either, it's cloudy. I can generally get an inch of stretch out of it. X

How did you discover this?
I worry about my CM and if it effects OHs sperm

We had tests about 6 years ago as we weren't conceiving. We both have one child from a previous relationship and neither of us had any difficulty in conceiving. We had various tests, and there is nothing wrong with either of us, but we had a post coital test which showed that I killed off all his sperm. We were told it was not impossible that we would conceive, just very unlikely.

After 7 years we did get a BFP but unfortunately miscarried at 9 weeks. From having come to terms with it not happening, we are back to square one and looking to try again... after all, if it happened once...?
