Confused about when to test, what would you do?

Hello ladies,

I have looooong luteal phase of around 18-19 days. I am currently 5 dpo and I don't know when to test. Should I test around 10-14 dpo or should i wait until my period is due? BFNs are so frustrating when you know you might have tested early. Would my long luteal phase affect my implantation time or would i get an accurate hpt result from around 14 dpo which would be a week before my period is due?

Any advice would be appreciated, this tww is dragging already! xxxxxxx

I would test once your period is due, it might be long to wait till then, but at least then you´re sure you didnt test too soon!

i agree test when due or ul drive ur self mad!
i did a test early once and it was BFN and i was gutted and found myself wanting test again just so i culd see if my eyes where playin tricks or not but then af came if id have waited i culda saves myself from early disopointment! so best to wait until ur due less pressure then! x
