Confused w strange cm and ov tests

I usually ov around day 18 of my cycle. On the evening of day 17 there was a LONG and very stretchy but not extremely wet "strand" of cm. It was definitely cm but not wet and white, more yellow and very stretchy and rubbery.I tested the next morning and thought it didn't turn positive so I threw it away. Later I looked at it again and it was positive. Since then the tests have come back negative but this morning I had cm that was ewcm again??? The last time we made love was the evening of day 13. Think I mite possibly have a chance at a BFP?
