Confused with doctor's note on results?

my doctor included on my pregnancy blood test a note that said "hcg almost not detected"

i don't understand what "almost not detected" means?? why not just "not detected"? does 'almost' mean yes or?

has anyone else ever heard this phrasing?

What a confusing response. Not very personal, thanks doc!! Geez! Normal range it looks like is 0-5 and your range is less than .5. I say give it a few days and test again!!!! It's there, it's not NOT there. Could be a chemical, don't get excited just yet. Wait a few days and go get another test! Fingers crossed for you!!!!!

Your body always keeps a very small amount of HCG usually under .5 , this is non pregnancy level. so your test is negative.
