My husband and I are on our second month TTC. Last month I had a 34 day cycle as well as the previous month that I came off the pill. So this month I was all prepared to ovulate on CD 19. We BD on CD15, 16, 17, 19 and 20 as well as pretty regularly the week before. However, I had EWCM on CD18 and a tiny bit more on CD20. Now I'm confused? I'm now on CD22 and have a tiny bit of spotting, but that seems to early for IB. I'm also having some aching which has been ongoing since around the time I ovulated.

When an earth did I ovulate? I can't figure it out and I want to understand my cycle better for next month.

Download Fertility Friend on your phone and start tracking your BBT's every morning as soon as you wake up. I've been doing this for two months now and for a girl who was very confused about her cycles, this has answered so many of my questions. It seems overwhelming at first but you get the hang of it pretty quick. You can always shoot me a PM. The follicular phase (pre-ovulation) of your cycle can vary, so you may not ovulate on the same day every month, but your luteal phase (post ovulation) is generally the same length every cycle.

I agree with the above poster! It's a pain in the butt sometimes but start temping!!! It's the only way I knew what day I ovulated. And Fertility Friend is a WONDERFUL tool as well in helping you figure it out. Just make sure to at least input your OPK results and BBT, and it will pretty much do the rest. Also, don't worry TOO much about the EWCM thing. Definitely track it, but just know that you can ovulate without it, AND you might even get it when you're not ovulating. That's how it is for me anyhow. I was only slightly wet down there around ovulation this month but at random points throughout my cycles I will get EWCM.

I also get my progesterone checked around CD 23. Now, that may just be because I have fertility problems and take Clomid, but it's also pretty helpful.

Hi, new here. Removed IUD have been having periods but I am 98% positive I am not ovulating at all, what are my next steps? Who do I talk to and what am I supposed to ask? It seems as though everyone tell ls me to "just wait" or "relax" but I know something is wrong and I'm not getting help. But what help could I get now? Are there tests? Do I have to see a specialist or my regular dr or gyno? Help!!!

Try tracking your temps every morning and using OPK's first. This should tell you if you're ovulating. Look up anovulatory vs ovulatory charts to give you a better idea of your own. Depending on your age, this should be a good method to try first, but you can always seek help from your OBGYN. I wouldn't go to a family practice physician for this. What makes you think you aren't ovulating?
