Confused

i had a scan today, from my last period i am 5+4 at the scan they told me the sac is empty and place the sac at under 5 weeks, should i just accecpt that i am not pregnant? i have to go back in two weeks for another scan just in case its too small, but even the sac is smaller then it should be, i am so confused.

Implantation can take a while, upto 10 days, and the sac doesn't start growing till implantation. Fingers crossed for 2 weeks time xxx

It's very very early and at this stage even a day makes a difference in what they see.

Also you are often told you are not as far as you think at this stage and it evens up later.

You wouldn't expect to see anything but an empty sac at this stage anyway so try to not give up hope xxx

If you weren't tracking your cycle, you may have ovulated late... as Peril says, you may have implanted late. And at only 5 weeks an empty sac is NORMAL. You are pregnant sweetheart, chin up and I hope you see a lovely little blob and heartbeat in 2 weeks xx

yes i was not tracking this cycle, as i gave up thinking it was not going to happen for me. so i am only guessing on last period give or take a few days and i have never worked out the time inbetween thing, 28 days 29 days 30 days has always confused me as mine changed all the time.

i hope i see a baby in two weeks too, i am just to scared to think pos lol.

When I had my early scan at 6+5 they wouldn't date me - the EPU nurse said that this early it is always + or - 5 days as it is so inaccurate - as Nic says try and take one day at a time - the chances are that there will be a little bean there when you go back

yea on the 20th will be two weeks from last scan so should know for defo whats going on, fingers crossed x
