OK. The hood, which tucks in or can hang out. Do you take the clips off before tucking it in? I don't see a way to tuck it in without them digging into the LO.

Hmm. I haven't tried yet! I always get her in it then notice I haven't tucked the hood in AGAIN and just go around with it hiding most of the print on the back lol! I'll try it this wkend.

Heh, that's been my issue, I forget to tuck it in and then he is in it and there's no way. But mine is plain black so there's no pattern hiding going on. I remembered yesterday before I put him in and then couldn't work out how to do it without it hurting him.

If i tuck the hood in then i just have the little straps with the clips on dangling out to the side...well not dangling as such, they're not long enough to 'dangle' but the hood tucked in and the strap/clips tucked out at each side...

Does that make any sense?!
