Constipated?

I'm 7dpo and have been constipated for the past couple of days. I'm always very regular and have never had a problem with constipation. What's strange is I'm still taking a BM every day, and had one today, but then I have that "constipated" feeling even though I wouldn't technically be constipated. I'm getting cramps, but I don't know if it's because of that. Any ladies out there experiencing this?

Constipation was a problem for me in early pregnancy all 4 times. The doc told me when I was preg. with DS that pregnancy slows your digestion down to get all the good stuff out of the food you've ate...if that makes sense??? But I wasn't going everyday...maybe every three or so, I had to take meds to help speed my digestion to normal....

I was constipated also from 7-10 DPO, really bloated too! Not too bad now 11DPO

I have the opposite problem... I had diarrhea today but not a lot... good luck, hun!

You, too It's strange. I feel like I'm getting the gassy type cramps and full feeling "down there" like I'm constipated...only it's not like I'm completely stopped up or anything. I hate not knowing what's going on with my body...I just know I've never had this symptom before, so I'm hoping it might mean something other than a funky stomach!!

I have had this similar feeling since 1DPO (today, I'm 10DPO). Just feels like I'm eating so much and nothing is coming out. It has caused further cramping, which has made me pretty much disregard all of my cramps as built up air. But I guess we can't really know for a few days.

I've heard that hormones released in early pregnancy can cause you to "back up" a bit, but I have no idea how early in pregnancy it happens. FXd for all of us constipated ladies!!

hi! you probably need someone to give you a good old fashioned enema. let me know how you make out. i have tons of experience.

Omg..ive had constipation for the last 3 days..today it actually eased up a bit. The first day i was in a lot of pain..i would literally cry sittin on the pot..I could not go..and trust me i had to go sooo bad. The second day was the same only I was able to go just barely after about 40 min on the pot. I had to drink 12oz of prune juice and finally this morning, i painfully was able to go. It was horrid because the strain caused some mild bleeding.

Hows that for a constipation story..yikes!

Im never constipated..ever...never..ever...lol Pregnant or not..we have to take care of our bodies eating healthy low fat foods with high fiber and lots of water..

I am too! I'm always very regular, tmi but I go every morning within minutes of having coffee, and for the past three days, nothing!!! Not even a feeling that I had to go which is so weird for me. This only ever happens when I travel for some reason. I am 9dpo and constipation started at 7dpo. Hopefully this is a symptom for us all!!

Mine started the am of my 8dpo-10dpo, (today)..so far I havent had to go again..ugh..time to bust out some more prune juice..eeeeek!
