Constipation & Cow & Gate!

My little girl is a month old an more often than not Cow & Gate stage 1 milk is giving her constipation! She's also very windy all the time. I don't know if this will stop over time or if I should speak to my HV an change it to a different one. Anyone else had this issue??

my little girl is 6 weeks old and also on cow and gate. she is fine on it and poops once a day. it may be worth trying your lo on a different formula to see if it makes much difference. has she been on it since birth? x

Some babies agree with one formula over another what about aptamil or hipp organic?

She was combi fed so on breastmilk which I expressed an on cow an gate if she needed it. My milk stopped as I wasn't feeding naturally so now she's on cow an gate all the time. She was a regular pooper but now its on big one a day. Im tempted to ring the health visitor but my husband reckons we had this problem with my son an the HV wasn't concerned xx

One big poo a day is completely normal when formula feeding full time. My son goes once every 2 days and its huge - there's more waste with formula whereas with breastmilk they absorb pretty much everything. I wouldn't worry long as its not causing pain and rock hard then it's fine x
