constipation

my lo is 2.5 weeks old and i gave him prune juice on tuesday as recommended by my midwife as he was pooing pellets and he did have a clearout. now its only friday morning and he is pooing pellets again?!?

im offering him water between feeds and hes taking it so i dont know why he is constipated? and i dont know how often i can give prune juice?

any advice much appreciated!! little guy looks so uncomfy x

you can give just 5ml of orange juice too. You can either mix it with water or give it on its own. I would just give it when you think your baby needs it x
