Contacted his family

Hiya,
As some of you might have seen, i asked whether i should contact FOB's family or g/f well i decided against going to the g/f and start ww3, and i messaged his sister and this is what i put, i have blanked out his name

Hi,

I know you don’t know me directly, but I’m assuming you are aware of who I am and the situation? Although I don’t know how much .... has let people know, however, as we all changed numbers due to the circumstances and to save a lot of hurt and upset I cannot get in touch with him. I feel I should let someone in his family know that his daughter is here. She was born on 11th September 2009 and I called her Hollie-Eve.

I understand and totally appreciate that it is a difficult situation but I feel at least now I have done my part in letting the other half of Hollie’s family know, and hope in the future a civil agreement/arrangement can be reached so that .... and his family are able to be part of Hollie’s life. I have gone through the CSA as per .... wishes so he should be hearing from them some time soon.

The last thing I want to do is put you in a difficult situation so I do not expect a reply back but simply ask if you could pass the message onto .....

It sounds fine to me!! Really mature and your letting them know about your LO as well as giving them the opportunity to get in touch but also letting them know that you arnt expecting anything.

Good for u hun. Sounds very grown up, mature, and civilised. At least u took the adult way about it and dealt with it in an appropriate manner.
Hopefully everything works out the way u want them to. But u can always have a clear mind that u did what was needed and took the rite action.

cant believe he's denying his own daughter I hope it all works out for you!! I have FOB that says he cares about LO....does nothing to show he cares and wants a dna test done when LO is born to "prove" he's the father...but he still cares??!! Don't understand it!! They're all Pricks!!( worse names in my head ....but keeping it polite haha) xx
