Contraception & bleeding (tmi)

I gave birth 15 weeks ago, and had postnatal bleeding for about 3/4 weeks. 6 weeks ago I started the mini pill (cerazette) but after 2 weeks I started bleeding extremely heavily with huge clots (sorry) it eased after about a week and a half but was still bleeding. After 5 weeks of bleeding I came off cezarette and am taking nothing. Another week and a half along and I'm still bleeding. The flow will change daily. Anyone else had this? When will it stop??

I'm sorry I can't really offer any help, I hope somebody can. If your worried or it carries on worth checking it out with your gp, or do they offer telephone consultations so you don't have to go in?

Why did you stop taking it? Are you breastfeeding?

I'm on cerelle, I started bleeding about a week after I started on though it stopped after a week. I was very surprised as I'm b/feeding I didn't expect anything until is stopped feeding. Now wondering and waiting to see if I'm going to have periods!

I stopped because the GP recommended it. It's just such a pain lol
