Convinced they made a mistake with my C-Section date

Hi everyone, need a little advice this morning.

3 weeks agi I have my C-Section booked, the consultant said to me that they do the sections at 39weeks, I queried it as they had previously said 39. She then got onto the phone to book it and said to me it would be the tuesday or wednesday after I am 38 weeks so I told her that date... however she has put on my notes that its booked for 39+2 when in fact the date I have Im 38+2!!!!

I have my pre-op next Friday and Im horrified that they are going to say its wrong and they have to book it back in... the consultant definitely said the wednesday after I turned 38weeks so its her fault really but I should have queried it then as my husband has been promoted at work and HAS to start work on 17th October no matter what. If they put my section back to 12th October approx, then he wont have any time at home and I have a 1year old to care for as well.... Im getting myself so chewed over it.

Do you think I should ring the hospital and query it or just wait until next Friday and hope that nothing is said? If I leave it until then surely they are less likely to change it???

I think if they are going to change it they might still change it next Friday tbh.. I'd be inclined to get it sorted out now instead of worrying.

You better call up now and double check!!

Here they do them at 39+wks...but other places it is at 38wks.....

You need to know for sure whats going on when!

I would deffo check. Mine was booked for dead on 39 weeks but they overbooked them for that day and pushed my date back to 39+2 so I would deffo check they have the date right.

I would ring and double check for peace of mind...mine too is booked for exactly 39 weeks.

I rang up this morning adn the woman on the phone said there was no consultant for me to talk to but she has took my details and will get someone to check and let me know... no call back but Im not gonna stress myself out over it, Ill just see what they say.

Hey you never know, I might go into labour naturally before then and wont have to worry about hubby not being there xx
