Convinced u can get false positives on clearblue digi!

I know they say u can't get a false pos on these tests but on two cycles now I've had a smiley then neg next day then back to a smiley a few days later. I know u can have an LH surge but fail to ovulate and then your body can try again, but when I've ejected the test sticks from what I believe are the false smileys, they have been smudged or had really light test lines. I know they say to ignore the lines but when I got pregnant with my son using these tests my line was super dark and it was today when I got what I believe is my true smiley. I'm sure Im about to ovulate for real this time as I have the symptoms.

I called clearblue helpline but I never find them to be that helpful. The woman I spoke to said I should speak to the doctor to find out why I've had two LH surges but I really think its the tests that are wrong. Anyone else had anything similar?

I used them for the first time I honestly don't like
Them either first response ovulation sticks are better

I think I might try them next month these are no good if they are gonna lead to confusion
