Can I give my 8 month old roasted veg with a glaze on which has honey in? It was cooked for about an hour at 210. Me and DH had it for tea last night and I was thinking she could have leftovers for lunch but I don't know the rules for cooked honey. Am leaning towards not as it's something to do with botulism, right? Would this apply to flapjacks made with honey too? TIA :flower:

I read that cooking wouldn't kill the botulism, if it were present, so cooked honey is still not recommended.

No. The botulism (sp? ) can't be killed by cooking no matter how high the temp.

Thanks, that was my thinking so I gave her something else in the end
