Ashley is definitely dead already, there's a farewell tribute on the ITV Corrie page.

I'm leaning towards Peter too now, as much as I don't want him to die but I think he does, marries Leanne before then dies...

Monday was fantastic, I thought last night was pretty poor but tonight fab again.

That's what's making me cling onto the small hope that Peter survives.

They've said there are a few red herrings though and I really think Charlotte is one of them, yet at the same time her dying would bring a good end to the John/Colin thing without dragging it out any longer.
